We all know that in 1969, Heuer launched three watches using their caliber 11, self-winding chronograph: the Carrera, Monaco, and Autavia. In the very earliest of advertisements for these advanced watches, they appeared with a few unique traits, and all lacked any model name on the dial. The thing is, Heuer enthusiasts never knew if these watches actually existed, if they were simple drawings for the sake of advertising, or if they were prototypes long since destroyed.
