For serious watch collectors, the idea of being a "one watch" guy or gal can be appealing or appalling C depending on who you ask. Some might find the freedom from choice implied by a one-watch collection attractive. Others may respect the sort of spartan self-discipline that committing to one watch requires. One thing's for sure: While many die-hard watch collectors talk about their hypothetical "one watch for life," very few go down that path.?During the HODINKEE 10th Anniversary Weekend last December, we asked our panelists and moderators to sit down and answer a few questions after they'd left the main stage.
