Introducing: The H. Moser Venturer Concept Blue Lagoon

Following up on the Cosmic Green dial, H. Moser & Cie. has introduced the Venturer Concept Blue Lagoon C a gorgeous blue dial with familiar fum treatment. If you are familiar with Moser then you are likely familiar with this watch and these special dials often used on their watches (with the exception of the Swiss Icons Watch of course). This is the first time that they have created a Concept watch in the 39mm Venturer case. The Blue Lagoon fum dial version is powered by the manual-winding caliber HMC 327 movement. The Venturer Concept Blue Lagoon is a limited timepiece available in 20 pieces each in red or white gold.? The Swiss Icons Watch H. Moser is known for ruffling feathers and calling people out (amongst other things). Why This Watch Matters The H. Moser Concept watches have become some of the most iconic pieces produced by the independent brand. Defined by the bare fum dials, with no markers or logos to speak of, the Concept watches are symbolic of Moser's purist beliefs that brands should be transparent and not rely on marketing tricks C they should produce great watches. The turquoise Blue Lagoon color is a nice addition to the array of colored dials already available on other Concept models (such as brown, green, and grey) and it looks great with the classic Venturer case shape.? Initial Thoughts Moser is certainly a niche brand with a small but mighty following (they are huge in Dubai, for example). It is only natural for them to explore new combinations of dial colors with existing case shapes. The Blue Lagoon color is vibrant and shows off the fum technique nicely.
