The German Watch Museum A few weeks ago while in Glashtte to visit the Glashtte Original manufacture, we took a little detour down the street to the German Watch Museum. Housed in a building that in 1878 was built as the original German watchmaking school, the museum offers a comprehensive look at the history of watchmaking in Germany from the nineteenth century to the present day. While we can't recommend strongly enough that you visit the museum for yourself, if you have the chance, here we have a brief photo tour of some of the museum's highlights. Glashtte, the home of German watchmaking Moritz Grossmann's amazing astronomical clock. We'll have more on this for you soon.
