In the early years, it was about access to knowledge and sharing our passion for watches through editorial storytelling. (It still is.) When we launched the Hodinkee Shop, it was about access online to some of the best watch brands in the world, along with limited-edition products we spent years developing with our partners. Over the past year, we've provided access to some of the most coveted pre-owned timepieces C delivering them all on a trusted resale platform with a guarantee of authenticity and the utmost care. The demand for certain watches has reached staggering highs C this speaks to the incredible enthusiasm that exists in an ever-growing collector community, but also the challenge to find and purchase them. Access has been a pain point. We could've chosen any day on the calendar for our event. But we picked 10/10 as a subtle nod to the handset position in so many watch photos C like this shot of a drop-dead gorgeous Daytona we once sold. So on October 10, for one day only, we're doing our part to help with our first ever 10/10 Event.
