IWC Opens Boutique In Miamis Design District

This week, Miamis Design District is welcoming yet another watch boutique, this time courtesy of IWC. This will be IWCs eleventh?boutique to open in the U.S., and their second in Florida (the other is located in Bal Harbour). The boutique was envisioned by IWCs in-house team of architects and designers, and is meant to reflect the brands philosophy within Miamis newest luxury shopping destination.?To celebrate the occasion, IWC is releasing a boutique-only Big Pilots Watch Perpetual Calendar Boutique Edition Miami. The Design District is located within the greater Midtown neighborhood of Miami, and is home to dozens of luxury boutiques, including the likes of Vacheron Constantin, Cartier, and (also newly opened) A. Lange & Sohne. IWC will house each of their six watch families within the boutique, surrounded by a mixture of slate stone, dark wood, and touches of grey. Additionally, youll find a range of special editions available exclusively within IWC boutiques the world over. The Big Pilots Watch Perpetual Calendar Boutique Edition Miami (ref. 502640)?will feature yellow hands and indices that differentiate it from other BP watches. Like its non-limited-edition variant, the Edition Miami will house IWCs own 51614 caliber complete with seven-day power reserve, day/date/month/year display, and that perpetual moon-phase display that accounts for both hemispheres. Unlike the other perpetual calendar Big Pilots watches weve seen, this one will be cased in steel.
