Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Sells For $365,000 While Atmos Clock Sells For $425,000 at (RED) Auction

November 24, 2013

We told you about the (RED) auction last week, and even gave some of you a private, hands-on look at the two limited edition pieces Jaeger-LeCoultre would donate to this special Marc Newson, Jony Ive curated sale. ?Last night, to a packed house, the auction went down in record form. ?The total brought in more than $12,000,000, and the two JLC pieces performed unbelievably well. ?The Deep Sea Alarm (one of three - the other two were given to Ive and Newson) brought down $365,000, while the piece unique Atmos 561 sold for $425,000 all in. ? Some other interesting results include $977,000 for the Mac pro, over $1.8M for the Leica. ?You can see the full results right here, and kudos to JLC and everyone else who donated a piece for this remarkable charity auction.
