Two New Dial Colors In The NOMOS Club Campus Collection

Although not officially participating in Watches & Wonders Geneva 2022 (the company took part in the digital show last spring), NOMOS released a set of unexpected beauties in the Club Campus range earlier this week. The German company has introduced a pair of fresh, new dial color options in "Deep Pink" and "Blue Purple," offering both new options in the Club Campus' two standard case sizes of 36mm and 38.5mm. Outside of the updated dial colors, which continue a trend for the Club Campus, as seen last year in the Future Orange and Absolute Grey color variants, the new models are more-or-less identical to the Club Campus watches you know and love. That means the manual-wind, in-house Alpha caliber is working inside, a small seconds display ticks away at six o'clock, and the hour markers on the dial are rendered in a California dial configuration, split between Roman and Arabic numerals. What We Think NOMOS approaches design thoughtfully, so you won't see the brand carelessly toss random tints and tones onto its dials for no apparent reason. NOMOS indicates that Deep Pink and Blue Purple were a way to tap into the turn of the season, welcoming the positivity of the spring months with a twosome of youthful hues. Of course, being a NOMOS Club Campus, the watch features a closed caseback C?a choice the company continues to prioritize in the collection, primarily as a way to offer a place for personalized engravings. After all, the line's target demographic is right there in the name; the Club Campus wants to appeal to high school and college graduates who are looking for their first nice watch.? As an entry-point into watch collecting, NOMOS keeps the price affordable here, with the new-for-2022 Club Campus models starting at $1,500.
