Today, Sunday, December 4, Is The Last Day Of The HODINKEE Holiday Pop-Up At Harrods In London

December 04, 2016

For the last three days, the HODINKEE team has been set up at one end of the Fine Watch Room at Harrods in London, with a killer selection of vintage watches and a great selection of HODINKEE straps, pouches, rolls, and spring bar tools. It's been tons of fun meeting readers, collectors, friends, and new horological devotees, while shooting wristshots, of course, but all good things must come to an end. Today, Sunday, December 4, is the last day for you to visit Arthur, Ashley, Cara, Louis, Sarah, and Stephen and to find your new favorite watch or strap. Our selection of watches is extremely diverse, with pieces ranging from 650 to 20,000. A few favorites include a blue 1978 Tudor Snowflake Submariner, a yellow gold Patek Philippe Calatrava ref. 570, a Rolex Sea Dweller ref. 1665 with box and papers, a stunning Doxa anti-magnetic chronograph with a two-tone dial, a Breitling SuperOcean 2005 "slow-counting" chronograph, along with a few other Rolex sport watches and a ton of 1950s and 60s chronographs from the likes of Heuer, Universal Genve, Breitling, and more. The HODINKEE booth is between Jaeger-LeCoultre and Richard Mille, at the Ladure end of the Fine Watch Room. (Photo: John Sander/HODINKEE) There's more than just watches though. While a few sizes and styles have sold out, we still have tons of straps available, including those from our Italian calfskin, smooth calfskin, racing, and unlined shell cordovan collections, plus a bunch of colorful nylon NATO straps, in addition to our limited edition strap just for this pop-up (it's blue English suede with red contrast stitching C you can see it below). We also have pouches, rolls, and travel cases for one, two, four, six, and eight watches, with varying levels of protection and portability. We're in the Harrods Fine Watch Room, between Richard Mille and Jaeger-LeCoultre (near the Ladure entrance), from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We look forward to seeing you! A blue Tudor Snowflake Submariner and a black gilt-dial Alpina chronograph, with the Harrods limited edition strap in between. But What If I Can't Make It To London Today? Well, you're in luck. We're continuing the pop-up with Harrods online through December 31. Monday morning, any watches and accessories not sold by end of day today will become available at Harrods.com.
