Vacheron Constantin Celebrates New Miami Boutique With Limited Edition Overseas Chronograph

Miami continues to attract the whos who of Swiss watchmaking with its revamped Design District and?this month?Vacheron Constantin joins the fold with a 1,400 square foot boutique. The boutique will be the brands fifth to open in the U.S., and first in Florida. To celebrate the occasion, Vacheron is releasing a limited-edition Overseas Chronograph that will be available exclusively at the brands Miami location. Vacheron Constantin joins a growing list of premier watch manufactures to open stand-alone boutiques in Miamis Design District. The setting takes advantage of Miamis historic arts community, amidst a variety of gallery spaces and warehouses that have been converted to retail spaces. The area is quickly becoming a one-stop wonderland for watch collectors and aficionados alike, with boutiques offering access to complete families of watches within a setting that showcases each brands philosophy and heritage. With the opening, Vacheron is offering a new take on their Overseas Chronograph. The boutique-only watch pairs a vivid?blue dial with a rose-gold case, and will be limited to just 30 pieces. Like the non-limited version of the Overseas Chronograph, the boutique model comes fitted with Vacherons caliber 1137 (based on the Piguet 1185) protected to 25,000 A/m. The case is 42 mm in diameter and features a solid case back stamped with the Overseas medallion. Water resistance stands at 150 meters.
