Introducing: The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin In Pink Gold

Way back when in 2016, Vacheron Constantin released the Overseas Ultra-Thin Perpetual Calendar. As the first Overseas QP (not to be confused with the Perpetual Calendar Chronograph), the watch was a pretty big hit and now they have added a pink gold version. The watch features the same in-house developed (but not made!) caliber 1120 QP/1 movement that displays the time, day, date, month, and leap year indication and doesn't need to be corrected until the year 2100 which means (if you are my age) that your grandchildren will likely have to deal with that for you (thank god!). The dial is a beautiful silvered dial with a clear display, and the only update here is that the case is pink gold.? Why This Watch Matters The Overseas Ultra-Thin Perpetual Calendar was a massive success and just an overall really beautiful watch. Easy to wear, easy to read, and functional in the truest sense of the word, it is only natural for Vacheron to produce it in an alternate metal such as pink gold. The only controversy here is the fact that the caliber 1120 was developed in-house but not by Vacheron Constantin C it's actually from Audemars Piguet. However, if I'm going to have a QP caliber made out of house, I'm pretty happy with AP handling it.? Initial Thoughts The watch itself looks great and still features the same slim profile and aesthetic. However, I am really bummed there is no bracelet. And while I can only guess that it would increase the price (not yet released C stay tuned), the Overseas bracelet is part of the joy of the watch and can you imagine rocking this QP in rose gold with a bracelet?
