Business News: Baselworld Cancels 2021 Show
MCH Group, the parent company of Baselworld, Switzerland's oldest and largest watch show, announced today that it has canceled Baselworld 2021 scheduled to be held from January 28 to February 2.That show was to replace the Baselworld 2020 show planned for April 30 to May 5 this year. MCH was forced to "postpone" that show when the Swiss Federal Council banned all large-scale public and private events in the country due to the coronavirus epidemic.The cancellation of the January 2021 show comes after a tumultuous three weeks that saw Rolex lead a revolt against Baselworld that resulted in eight top Swiss brands suddenly withdrawing from the 2021 show. ...
