Breitling quietly dropped a new limited edition of its classic Navitimer today, a refined and dark pilot's watch in the brand's large 46mm case, available only in the United States in a limited number of 300 pieces. Just Because: A Look At The Pice Unique Atelier de Chronomtrie AdC17
Last week when Atelier de Chronomtrie posted one of their pice unique creations on Instagram, I was captivated. Their newest watch, the AdC17 rattrapante, is just flat-out gorgeous, with a 39mm by 13.3mm two-tone 18k grey and rose-gold case and a gorgeous two-tone galvanic rose-gold dial. The dial has rose-gold baton and Breguet indexes, rose-gold and blued-steel hands, and a rose-gold crown and pushers. The tone for the rose gold on the hands, crown, and pushers seems distinctly more yellow than the rose of the dial, which sometimes clashes but works well here. Brew Watches just announced a new limited version of its Metric Chronograph design, this time as a time-only watch with automatic mechanical movement C and for $525, it seems like a heck of a good value. Getting rid of the mechaquartz movement and going to a Seiko NH35A means you get a solid time-only, stainless-steel watch at 36mm (41.5mm tall) and 10.75mm thick.
